A few weeks ago (before the wind tried to blow Rexburg off the map) the kids were spending most of their days outside. Riding bikes was a popular choice of activities. Cam is doing great on his big boy bike with the training wheels and can keep up with Paige with no problems. We rode our bikes all the way to Grammies and back!
Paige has been doing great with no training wheels and although it looks like she is doing the "look mom....no feet" move, she is actually about to tip over! (thus the helmet!)
This is Ali's new favorite position. She is quite feisty lately and prone to throwing fits about pretty much everything. She has been very attached to her paci lately but after not being able to find it for bedtime one night and Ali not seeming to notice, we decided that the pacifier days were over. I think Ryan and I were more sad about it than Ali. She never once asked for it. Our baby is growing up :(
This is Ali's favorite look. She sticks her bottom jaw out and bites her lip with her bottom teeth. It is quite funny because she is missing the two bottom eye teeth so the big gaps show when she does this.
After an exhausting day hanging out with Grammie Paige and Sammie cashed it in. Paige spent all day with Grammie, Grandpa, and Uncle Bill shopping. While she was out with them she decided that she no longer belonged to our family but now belonged to Grammie. She told Grammie that while they were out they needed to buy some treats for the Nurl kids. (The Nurl's being us). Don't ask me where she came up with that name. She then proceeded to call us the Nurls for the next few days. She even went so far as to say that I needed to come to our house and get all of her stuff (clothes, toys, etc) and drop them off at her new house. Luckily she decided (or forgot) and rejoined our family.
Ali has become quite artistic lately although her father does not really appreciate her canvas! Yeah, take a good look at that hardwood floor. Thank goodness for Mr. Clean magic eraser (like it never happened).
