Welcome Baby Cameron!

Yes, he is FINALLY here! Baby Cameron decided to have mercy on his mother and came 4 days early on September 14th. He weighed in at a whopping 8lbs 4oz and was 21.5 inches long. Had I been expecting this size of a baby, I may have opted for a repeat c-section. But we went for it, had a "tear"able delivery and are still in the middle of a rocky recovery. Baby Cameron, however, is as happy as a clam. He is a great baby and brings our family nothing but joy! We are so happy to have him and Paige loves being an older sister.

CrAZy!! Summer!

So I owe huge apology to the Portland fam! I know you have all been missing seeing pics of Paige. I am a TERRIBLE blogger. It has been a crazy summer and I never feel like I have time to do a decent post. Again I don't feel like i have time to do a good post, but if I don't throw some pics on the blog soon Ry just might throw me out the door! (Totally a joke in case anyone is really concerned!) So here are a few pics of what we have been up to in the past month or two.

So to save time I am just going to write about all the pics below:

Our activities this summer have included a lot of water. From water slides, to Rigby lake, to puddles in the backyard, Paige loves them all. She has no fear which is definitely a fear to me! We got her a helmet and bike seat to go for rides with me, but she is totally her daddy's girl and prefers the bikes with motors! She will settle for the pedal bike if dad is not around but if he is she will sign and do the sound for motorbike over and over until he takes her. She usually wakes up first thing in the morning and sign "hat" (wanting her helmet) and then stands at the door signing bike and crying to go out. The funny thing is that she almost always falls asleep on the motorbike after about 5 mins! Other things that we have enjoyed doing are feeding the ducks, fishing (yes she did kiss the fish!), going to the park, playing in her new sandbox (compliments Grandpa Danny and Grandma Dev), 4th of July parade, rodeo, participating in the Swedish holiday of midsummer celebration, and the annual Rexburg airshow. She has also been a little mischievous. Within one week she had colored on the wall with blue marker, unrolled a roll of toilet paper, and spilled and tracked baby powder all over the house. I just can't keep up!

Turning 1

We celebrated Paige turning 1 this past Tuesday. Paige had a great time partying and crashed when we finally took her home from the party. She didn't even think about waking up until 8:30 the next morning!

Paige did really well opening gifts for about the first 3 and then she just wanted to play with her toys. So Ryan and I enjoyed opening the rest in front of her!

Paige really love getting in and out of this car. She looks like a little grown up when she opens the door gets in one foot at a time, closes the door, grabs the wheel and honks the horn. I guess she has been paying more attention then I thought from the backseat!
She also didn't mind sharing with Logan. She was sure that it was a two-seater.

My attempt at a butterfly cake with matching cupcakes. At least they tasted good.

She thought it was pretty funny that everyone was singing to her! (I would load the video but i am too lazy at the moment)

She was definitely NOT shy about diving right into the cake.

Ready or NOT!

Due to the fact that Paige is turning 1 in a few weeks you may be thinking that I am getting sentimental and reminiscing about when she joined our family, that is NOT the case! Surprise, (yes it was a surprise to us as well), it looks like baby #2 will grace our family with its presence sometime around September 18th. Yes that's right, we will have 2 kids under two! We are finally over the shock and ready to post the news to shock everyone else. We are currently both feeling as though it is a girl but will not know officially until sometime in May. My most pressing concern at the moment is making the decision between a repeat c-section or giving it a shot the normal way. I would love to hear your thoughts!
