Our little Ali cat!
Ali Jane Orme arrived via c-section (hallelujah!) Monday October 11th, weighing in at 7lbs 10oz and measuring 20.5 inches. Mother and baby are both doing great! Compared to my last delivery I don't even feel like I had a baby!
Ali has her very own look but has obvious resemblances of both Paige and Cam. However she very much resembles her aunt Bridgettes baby pics!
Our little Ali cat had a bit of a rough start to life. Basically she decided to show up late for her own birthday. Throughout the pregnancy and the whole time she was being monitored during the labor she was in perfect shape. However, as soon as they pulled her out she took one little breath and then everything stopped. EVERYTHING.....no heartbeat.....no breathing.....nothing. 30 seconds later Ali decided to join the party and popped back in. After a few hours of oxygen and monitoring she was deemed healthly. She had to spend a few days in the NICU to make sure all was good. Thankfully she will have no lasting effects from this dramatic entry into life!
Cam (although a little sick) is happy to have his sister (and his mommy) home.
Paige is SUCH a good big sister! I cant believe how much of a helper she is for only being 2 1/2.Monday, October 11, 2010
