Friend Reunion

I got together with a few of my girlfriends from high school for our annual girls reunion. We had a great time going out to dinner, singing Kareoke, making rings, and getting pampered! (Thanks Kellie and Tara) While we were all in town a few of us decided to get together for a play date. It was fun to get together again.........although I don't ever remember our get togethers being SO CHAOTIC.......Oh yeah we have a few extra tag-a-longs now.....
15 to be specific (Stevie's oldest decided not to join the chaos)!

Wounder Soldier Army Crawl

Ali started doing the army crawl a couple weeks ago and has steadily increased in speed and distance. It is funny to see that she crawls exactly like Paige did. Cam did things a little differently. We call it the wounded solider because not only is the army crawl but one of her legs remains inactive through the whole process (as if it is wounded and doesn't work). Today I left her in the living room while I went into the kitchen to make lunch. Ali was less than thrilled with getting left behind. Up until this point she had only crawled short distances (5-10 feet). So I was genuinely surprised to see Ali coming around the corner into the kitchen (a good 50 foot crawl). As you can see our floor is not the safest place for a new traveler. Lots of other traffic!

Birthday Girl!!

We finally don't have 3 kids under 3!!! Life should be easy now right?! All Paige wanted for the longest time was a castle cake. So I did my best and here it is. Paige had been talking about the castle cake for SO long she was excited to help. She helped bake ALL the parts of the cake. We have a pic just like this for her 2nd birthday so I thought we would keep the tradition alive.

We decided to plant a few new trees and so we bundles up the kids and went outside to enjoy our "spring" weather. Despite the 40 degree temperature and 40 MPH wind.....it was fun....at least Cam and Russ were enjoying themselves.

Ali didn't complain either.

Latest Obsessions

Cam is totally obsessed with the Jeep. Anytime he even gets a glimpse of it he is begging to drive it. Nothing make him quite as happy as a ride in the jeep. Lately he has been getting kind of nervous when Ry is climbing a big hill in the jeep. But the other day while climbing yet another giant snow drift Paige was cheering and Cam finally mustered up enough courage to clap. Paige is still totally obsessed with anything princess. She spends most of her days in dresses like this one. She will change from the blue dress to the white dress probably 6 times a day. She likes to role play the whole Cinderella scene. First she puts on the blue dress and asks me to dance with her. She then runs away making sure to leave a slipper behind. Then she wants me to pick up the slipper and chase her around the house. When I catch her I put the slipper on and say "It fits!" Then she goes and changes into the white dress and grabs her bouquet and says, "ok, we're married".

Ali loves to smile, laugh, and jabber. She is by far our most vocal baby. Half the time her talking sounds like she is shrieking and mad.....but really she is just super happy and overly dramatic in expressing it. She recently started rolling (despite my attempts to keep her from doing so) and she rolls everywhere!

Wedding Bliss

This past Saturday we were able to be apart of my little brother Judd and his new wife Chelsie's wedding. It was so much fun. I am so excited to have a sibling be married. I am especially happy to be adding another girl on that side of the family. Dev and I have always been out numbered.

Although it was a little chaotic getting all 3 kids dressed and to the temple by 8:30am we made it and had a great day.

Paige has been obsessed with weddings lately (mainly due to Cinderella getting married at the end of the movie). She has been asking when she can go to the temple and get married. Ry told her "when you get a lot older and find a nice boy you can get married". So Paige said, "Dad, your a nice boy." To which Ry replied, "well, I'm already married" so Paige said, "Cam's a nice boy".

When she saw that the dress she would be wearing was white (just like a wedding dress) she cried and begged to wear it ALL WEEK! I was more than a little anxious to get the wedding over with just so she could wear the dress whenever she wanted. This picture she is showing of her new shoes that I had got her for the wedding. I was a little disappointed that they didn't come in my size :(
